Focus more on the ‘WHY’ of advertising…
On my last couple of videos, I talked about how advertisers spend too much time worrying about the ‘HOW.’ They’re obsessed with HOW they set up their campaign or their targeting when they don’t get results.
But they should spend way more time worrying about the ‘WHAT.’ So, what they’re promoting: The product, price, ads, and landing page.
And I’ll take this a step further…
Ask Questions to Find Solutions
When you’re not getting good results, you should be asking ‘WHY,’ not ‘HOW.’
Things like…
- Why aren’t people acting on your ads?
- Why isn’t Meta reporting more conversions?
- Why are you getting low-quality leads?
- Why are people outside of your target demo seeing your ads?
By asking ‘WHY,’ you do two things:
1. You admit that your ads are never perfect, and the solution may be found there.
2. You acknowledge that while Meta isn’t perfect, it’s explainable. It’s not due to some whacky conspiracy theory.
Focusing on ‘WHY’ helps you find solutions while ‘HOW’ spins your wheels.
