Highlight Image Text Enhancement

Meta is testing another Advantage+ Creative enhancement…

Within your advertising settings, click on Creative Features.

Creative Features

Some advertisers will have the option to check a box to test new creative features.

Creative Features

When you do, fewer than 5 percent of your impressions will be spent on these test features.

I have 11 of these test features right now, and a new one just appeared: “Highlight Image Text.”

What Is It?

Highlight Image Text

Here’s how Meta describes it:

We will add AI-generated colors and banners that draw attention to important text in your image.

Sometimes Meta will share an example of how enhancements are applied using one of your ads, but I only get a generic example for this one. Basically, this will apply when you have text on an image. Meta will use AI to highlight the important text with colors and banners.

Should You Leave it On?

What will that look like? It’s tough to say. Like all of these, it requires a bit of trust if you want to keep it on. I’m generally adventurous with these settings, but you may have clients with lower risk tolerance.
